Shipping

This section allows you to set the type(s) of Shipping Methods you would like for your products. You can choose Custom Shipping Methods i.e UPS Ground, Fedex Overnight. Or, you can choose Real-Time Shipping using Fedex, UPS and USPS (United States Postal Service), please see help on all the available options below and how to setup the various Real-Time Shipping Accounts:

CUSTOM SHIPPING CALCULATION

Creating a Custom Shipping calculation will allow you to to set shipping costs with your own rules. For example, if you just want to set UPS Ground at $5.00 for all your products, you would do that using the Custom Shipping Method. You can create multiple Custom Shipping options and then choose to add whichever ones you want to a product.

To add a Custom Shipping Calculation, go to the "Shipping" section of the Ecommerce Shopping Cart in the left hand navigation bar.
Select "Use custom shipping calculation" and click "Edit"

To create a new shipping method, click the “Add new shipping” button in the Shipping menu.

Custom shipping can be created using one of the following types:
• Fixed Shipping Cost
• Shipping Cost by Quantity
• Shipping Cost by Weight

FIXED COST

The shipping cost for this type of shipping method, will always be the “Fixed Shipping Cost”value entered below, no matter what the weight or quantity of the product is. You can also choose to give customers Free Shipping if the order is over a certain amount. You would choose "Yes" in the dropdown menu to enable that option. In the example below, the Shipping Cost for the order would be: UPS GROUND - $5.00
Click "Add Shipping" when done

BY QUANTITY

Select "By Quantity" and click "Next"

You can enter the shipping cost of the “First Item” and any thereafter. Each additional item will be charged with the shipping cost specified in“Next Item” value. You can also choose to give customers Free Shipping if the order is over a certain amount. You would choose "Yes" in the dropdown menu to enable that option. In the example below, the Shipping Cost for quantity 1 will be $5.00 and the Shipping Cost for quantity 2 will be $6.00 ($1 per additional item ordered after quantity 1)
Click "Add Shipping" when done

BY WEIGHT

Select "By Weight" and click "Next"

Enter the details below. You can also choose to give customers Free Shipping if the order is over a certain amount. You would choose "Yes" in the dropdown menu to enable that option.
Click "Add Shipping" when done. You will enter the specific weights on the next screen (below)

On the Shipping List page, click "Weight Rates" inline with the new Shipping by Weight Method you just added

Click "Add a New Item" to add in the Weight Ranges

Add in as many weight ranges as you want. In the example below:
0-5 LBS = $6.00 Shipping Rate
5-10 LBS = $8.00 Shipping Rate
10-15 LBS = $12.00 Shipping Rate

ADDING CUSTOM SHIPPING METHODS TO YOUR PRODUCTS

To add any Custom Shipping Methods you created to your products:
Go to "Products" in the left hand navigation bar. Click "Edit" to edit a product you have added already. If you have not added a product, click "Add Product"

In the product edit screen, you will see 'Shipping Method" as one of the fields. You will see the Custom Shipping Methods you added in the "Shipping" section of the Website Builder.
Check the "Allowed" box for any of the shipping methods you would like to add to the product.
To 'Override" a shipping cost for an individual product, check the "Override" box for the shipping method. This will open up a field where you can enter the shipping cost you want to only show for this product.

REAL-TIME SHIPPING

supports real-time shipping cost calculation from UPS, FedEx, and USPS (U.S. POSTAL SERVICE)

Note: Currently, Google Checkout does not work with real-time shipping cost calculation.

Once you have applied for the account(s) you want to use, go the the "Shipping" section of the Shipping Cart
Select "Use realtime Shipping" and check the boxes of the Carriers you want to use
Click "Update"

UPS REAL-TIME SHIPPING

Click "Edit" next to UPS

Enter the details obtained from your Real-Time UPS Account into the fields provided

Merchant Zip is the sender’s zip code
Merchant Country is the sender’s country
UserID is Developer’s Key that you get from UPS email when you finish registration
Password Get from UPS web site when you register
Access License Number is the XML Access Key that you request from UPS

Choose the types of service you would like to offer
Enable FREE shipping if you would like to
Apply a "Markup" amount that will be added to the total of the shipping cost from UPS, if you would like to.

FEDEX REALTIME SHIPPING

Click "Edit" next to FedEx

Enter the details obtained from your Real-Time UPS Account into the fields provided

Merchant Zip is the sender’s zip code

Merchant State is the sender’s state

Merchant Country is the sender’s country

Key is a Production Key that get from FedEx web site

Password is a Security Code that get from FedEx email.

Account Number get when registration FedEx Account.

Meter Number get from FedEx web site

USPS REAL-TIME SHIPPING

Click "Edit" next to USPS

Enter the details obtained from your Real-Time USPS Account into the fields provided

UserID that was sent from the registration email.
Merchant Zip is the sender’s zip code
Merchant Country is the sender’s country
USPS Server must be Non-secure

Choose the types of service you would like to offer
Enable FREE shipping if you would like to
Apply a "Markup" amount that will be added to the total of the shipping cost from UPS, if you would like to.
