Affiliate Configuration

This allows you to set your affiliate configuration so you can create an affiliate campaign for your business.   Please note - these are just the initial settings, to see help on managing your affiliate campaign, please click here

Affiliate Enabled
Enable or disable affiliate system.  


  
Auto Approve
If this setting is "Yes", when a user applies for the affiliate program, they will be approved as an affiliate automatically.
If this setting is "No", the merchant will receive a notification email when a user has applied for the affiliate program. Then, the merchant needs to approve the user manually in the back office.  


   
In case of multiple affiliate references
A customer may follow more than affiliate links to your website (e.g. from affiliate banner of one website and a directory link from another website). This option determines which affiliate will get credit and commission for this customer.
• Always use first affiliate – this option will credit the first referring affiliate for any purchase for this customer.
• Use latest affiliate – this option will credit the most recent affiliate.  


  
Cookie Expire Period (days)
Set the number of days that the affiliate cookie will expire. After the cookie has expired for that customer, the affiliate will no longer receive any commission for that customer’s purchases.  


  
Default Commission Rate (%)
Set the default commission rate when a new affiliate has registered on your website. The commission rate for each affiliate can be edited in the Affiliates section of the Shopping Cart.
